The regional meeting Evidence Based Policy Making in Education

The regional meeting Evidence Based Policy Making in Education was held on December 16, 2011 in Vienna, Austria, as a further step in already initiated regional cooperation within the Joint TFBHC and ERI SEE Cluster of knowledge: Evidence Based Policy Making in Education.

The main aim of the meeting was the presentation of the regional study Mapping Regional Capacities for Evidence Based Policy Making in Education in South Eastern Europe and to discuss findings as well as to determine the further course of action. Based on the Mapping exercise findings and recommendations, the Republic of Serbia as the leading country of the Cluster will initiate preparation of the regional project in the area of Evidence Based Policy Making as support and promotion of the Cluster activities.

The meeting was organized by the Task Force Fostering and Building Human Capital (TFBHC), the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration/Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit, the KulturKontakt Austria and the Centre for Education Policy/ERI SEE Interim Agency.
